Superintendent's Message: National School Walkout

Superintendent's Message: National School Walkout

#Enough National School WalkoutDear Families:

Students around the nation today participated in a grassroots National School Walkout to protest gun violence as well as call upon state and federal leaders to support legislation designed to prevent further school violence. This was also an opportunity for students to honor the 17 victims who lost their lives in Parkland, Florida.

At 10 a.m. this morning, a number of Clyde-Savannah students chose to gather for a moment of silence, as well as sign letters to legislators, and hear words from school counselors and administrators.

I am really proud of the way our students presented themselves to address this issue.

Sincerely,
Michael C. Hayden
Superintendent
