Clyde-Savannah High School is thrilled to announce that Nicholas Fowler and Abigail Dapolito have been named Class of 2018's Valedictorian and Salutatorian.

Valedictorian, Nicholas Fowler, has a cumulative grade point average of 93.714% and will graduate high school with 30 college credits. Nicholas is a dedicated young man.  In addition to academic prowess, he has been active in several school-sponsored sports over the last four years. Nicholas has been a member of the JV and Varsity football teams since 9th grade. This year, his team ended their winning season by becoming Section V Champions, with Nick leading the team in the position of co-captain. Nick played Varsity basketball in his sophomore and senior year, again helping his team win the Section V Championship in the 2017-2018 season. In the spring, you can find Nick on the track, running with his Varsity Track & Field team in various group and solo events. The Track & Field team also won back to back Section V championships in 2016-2017.  Nick’s relay team holds the school record in 4x100 and 4x400. Nick is also active in school government.  He has been class president all four years of high school, as well as being president of the Varsity Club and the National Honor Society.

Nicholas has earned numerous academic awards while at Clyde-Savannah.  He has been on Principal’s Honor Roll all quarters of high school, earning the designation of Special Honors for holding an academic average over 100 during this time.

Upon graduation from Clyde-Savannah High School, Nicholas will attend University of Buffalo where he will obtain a degree in engineering. He hopes to use his credits earned from Clyde-Savannah in our Gemini and SUPA programs to jump start his education. Nicholas resides with his proud parents Mark and Diana Fowler in Clyde.

Salutatorian, Abigail Dapolito, has a cumulative grade point average of 92.248% and will graduate high school with thirty college credits. Abigail is a conscientious, busy young woman. She has held two part-time jobs while participating in all band concerts, playing sports and keeping up with academics. She played volleyball in grades 9-11, earning the title of team captain in 10th grade. In her senior year, Abigail contributed as a team member of the tennis and softball teams. Her involvement in the Clyde-Savannah school community also includes being voted class treasurer in grades 10-12, dedication to the school yearbook committee and racing down hills with the ski club. Abigail also volunteers in the community through her church and St. Francis-St. Stephen’s School.

Upon graduation from Clyde-Savannah High School, Abigail will attend LeMoyne College where she will pursue Biology as a major with the goal of becoming a Physician’s Assistant. Abigail resides in Clyde with her proud parents, Daniel and Veronica Dapolito.
