High standards and academic excellence are not new to Clyde-Savannah. As you know our district strives to provide a comprehensive learning experience designed to meet the needs of our student population. Clyde-Savannah staff is dedicated to creating a learning environment in which knowledge, critical thinking, and problem solving flourish.
Engage NY is an excellent resource provided by the New York State Education Department that will help all of us, parents, teachers, and administrators to understand the changes that are currently happening in education. Use this resource to stay up to date on the changes our Department of Education is making.
The Office of Curriculum and Instruction is committed to carrying out the district's mission by:
· Adopting NYS Common Core Curriculum Modules Grades K-8
· Maintaining and reviewing Curriculum Maps as they align to the Common Core Learning Standards in all curricular areas
· Incorporating Literacy across all content areas
· Differentiating Instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of all learners
