Athlete of the Week

10/8/21: Quillan Shimp (Cross Country)

Quillan has been a standout runner on the cross-country team, consistently finishing 2nd or 3rd on the team depending on the race.  Quillan helped the team finish 4-0 in this week’s league meet and has been a key to the team’s success throughout the season.  Additionally, Quillan showed his versatility by singing the national anthem at the home football game this past week.

Congrats Quillan.

 9/20/21: Kylie Paylor (Cross Country)

Kylie has been a standout performer in Cross Country this season.  She started out with the highest finish from a W/FL athlete at the Robert Goodell Memorial, was victorious in her first league meet this year and finished 2ndat the league meet this past Tuesday @ Waterloo.

9/13/21: Kelsie DiSanto (Volleyball)

Our “athlete of the week” for early September goes to Kelsie DiSanto on the varsity volleyball team.  Coach Viscardi praised Kelsie’s hard work, dominating skill at the net, strong serving game, and back row defense.  “During practices Kelsie leads her teammates to keep practices focused and competitive.  In addition to volleyball, Kelsie also does well academically while contributing to other clubs and school activities while also working a weekend job at Wegmans.” – Coach Viscardi

Congrats to all student-athletes on the start of the season and we look forward to continued success as the fall season moves along.  GO EAGLES!!!!
