VALEDICTORIAN TINA HUANG
Valedictorian Tina Huang has a remarkable cumulative grade point average of 96.729% and will graduate high school with 23 college credits. She also graduates from the New Visions Health Therapy Science program this year.
Tina is successful at staying on top of her studies while being a year-round athlete and participating in several extracurricular activities. She played clarinet, alto sax, and drums in our band and jazz band and sang in our chorus and select choir for three years. She played volleyball for four years and was Captain of both the junior and varsity teams. She was also Captain of track and field in her senior year and participated in indoor and outdoor track for all four years of high school. Tina broke school records for triple jump, long jump, and relays on our track teams. She has also been a member of our Basketball team. Tina is a member of Student Council, Vice President of her class, and Treasurer of National Honor Society. She also managed lighting and sound effects for our school musicals for three years and helped to plan a charity volleyball game to raise money for Laurel House in Newark, NY in her junior year.
Tina has earned numerous academic awards while at Clyde-Savannah. She has been on Principal’s Honor Roll for all quarters of high school. She has also earned the designation of Special Honors for holding an academic average over 100 and having the highest quarterly average in her class several times. She also earned Senator Pamela Helming’s Youth Leadership Award.
Upon graduation from Clyde-Savannah High School, Tina will attend University at Buffalo for Exercise Science. Her goal is to become a physical therapist. Tina resides with her proud parents Xueru (Rachel) Lin and Jianhui (Kevin) Huang and her younger brother Tanner in Clyde.
SALUTATORIAN KAMRYN LAINHART
Salutatorian Kamryn Lainhart has a remarkable cumulative grade point average of 94.541%. Kamryn is a hardworking and intrinsically motivated student. Since her junior year she was dual enrolled at Finger Lakes Community College as an Early College Scholar. She will graduate with 42 college credits.
Kamryn takes the lead as a part-time student cleaner at Clyde-Savannah High School, which she has been doing since her sophomore year. She played trumpet in band and jazz band in grades 9-11. She also assisted with orienting a group of her classmates to Finger Lakes Community College.
Kamryn has earned numerous academic awards while at Clyde-Savannah. She has been on Principal’s Honor Roll every year. She has also earned the designation of Special Honors for holding an academic average over 100 and highest quarterly average in her class. She was inducted into the National Honor Society because of her spectacular academic and service record and was elected Secretary of the National Honor Society by the other members.
Upon graduation from Clyde-Savannah High School, Kamryn will attend Cayuga Community College for Health Sciences with a concentration in sonography. Her goal is to become an ultrasound technologist to help people with their medical needs. Kamryn resides with her proud parents Lucas and Rebecca Lainhart, and her two sisters Kelsey and Kinley in Savannah.
