C-S Valedictorian & Salutatorian

Please join the Clyde-Savannah Central School District in congratulating our Class of 2026 Valedictorian and Salutatorian! We are so proud of them and all their hard work. They will be honored at this year's graduation ceremony on Friday, June 26 at 7 p.m. in the an outdoor ceremony at the Clyde-Savannah Jr./Sr. High School.

erin schrader

Valedictorian Erin Schrader has achieved an outstanding cumulative grade point average of 100.515%. She has been dual-enrolled as an Early College Scholar at Finger Lakes Community College since her freshman year and will graduate from high school with 41 college credits. Erin earned the highest quarterly average every year of her high school career, reflecting her consistent commitment to academic excellence.

In addition to her academic achievements, Erin has been actively involved in extracurricular and leadership activities at Clyde-Savannah High School. She enjoys performing on the flute in the Concert Band and the alto saxophone in the Jazz Band, as well as singing as an Alto in both Chorus and Select Choir. 

Erin served on Student Council for four years and is Vice President of her class. She is also President of the Clyde-Savannah Chapter of the National Honor Society and previously served as President of the National Junior Honor Society. Her additional activities include participation in the Yearbook Club, Drama Club, and Musical Club. As a senior, Erin delivered memorable stage performances as Jesus in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Tweedle-Dee in Through the Looking Glass.

Outside of school, Erin works at the Clyde-Savannah High School fitness center and babysits. She also served as a teacher aide in the Eaglet’s Landing Summer Program. She practices her faith and volunteers at St. John’s Catholic Church in Clyde, New York, by assisting with Mass preparations and maintaining the church hall and office building. In 2025, she was crowned Miss Clyde-Savannah Queen.

Following graduation, Erin plans to finish her Bachelor's degree at Empire State University while working full-time. Her goal is to become a Certified Public Accountant and continue serving her community. 

Erin resides in Clyde, New York, with her parents, Gordon and Kathy Schrader. Her two brothers, Alexander and Nicholas Schrader, are also alumni of Clyde-Savannah High School.

julia rockwell

Salutatorian Julia Rockwell has achieved a remarkable cumulative grade point average of 99.062%. She is a well-rounded, motivated student-athlete, musician, and leader at Clyde-Savannah High School. In addition, Julia is dual-enrolled at Finger Lakes Community College as an Early College Scholar and will have earned 35 college credits by graduation. She has received academic recognition from both the College Board and the Urban League of Rochester.

A passionate athlete, Julia has demonstrated exceptional leadership as Varsity Volleyball Captain during her junior and senior years and remains active on a volleyball team outside the varsity season. She will coach volleyball this summer and is preparing to become an official. Earlier in her high school career, Julia served as Captain of Modified Softball in her freshman year and played Varsity Softball in grades 10 and 11.

Julia is also a leader in the performing arts, serving as President of Drama Club for two years and Secretary for one year, and as President of Musical Club and Choir for two years each. She is a talented alto in Select Choir and plays alto saxophone in both Band and Jazz Band. 

Her behind-the-scenes leadership included serving as stage manager for Once on This Island, Mamma Mia, Little Women, Shuddersome Tales of Poe, Through the Looking Glass, and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. As a performer, Julia appeared as the Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz and Rona Lisa Peretti in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Committed to academic and civic leadership, Julia serves as Vice President of the National Honor Society, previously held the role of Treasurer of the National Junior Honor Society, and served as Class Treasurer for the Class of 2026. She has also been an active member of Clyde-Savannah’s Student Council throughout her junior and senior years.

Julia has completed over 73.5 hours of community service, primarily supporting youth sports and academic initiatives within the school community. She attended the HOBY Youth Leadership Conference in recognition of her advocacy for others and positive impact on school culture. She has also been honored by the Urban League of Rochester as an Exceptional Black Scholar and is a member of News8’s Prime Time 585 Youth Council, contributing photography and videography for youth sports.

Maintaining a strong work ethic, Julia has worked for two summers with Clyde-Savannah’s Eaglet’s Landing program, was employed for two years at the high school fitness center, and currently works part-time at Walmart in Newark, New York.

Upon graduation, Julia will attend the Honors College at the University at Buffalo, majoring in Psychology and Exercise Science with a minor in Addiction Studies. Her long-term goal is to earn a Ph.D. in Sports Psychology. 

Julia resides with her proud parents, Kimberly and James Rockwell, and is supported by her older sister, Mariah Rockwell, also a Clyde-Savannah High School alumna.
