👏 HONOR ROLL AND EAGLE AWARDS FOR FIRST QUARTER! 👏
Yesterday we recognized our Jr. High School students who achieved Honor Roll in the first quarter. Eagle Awards were also given to students who exemplify the EAGLE WAY of Excellence, Attitude, Growth, Leadership, and Empathy. Academics and character go hand-in-hand, and we are proud of our students who bring these traits to Clyde-Savannah. We look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together! Way to go! 🦅

UPK is learning about their colors in art class this week. The students colored rainbows, then watched a video on the new smartboard to reinforce what they learned. 🎨

On December 19 from 8-11am, Clyde-Savannah students in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 will be out in the community providing helping hands! Perhaps, you could use help with cleaning up leaves in your yard, shoveling walk ways or driveways if there is snow, and anything else you may need assistance with.

🎉🎉 FRIDAY'S PBIS ASSEMBLY WAS SO FUN!!! 🎉🎉
The Elementary School had its second PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) assembly on Friday, and it was a blast! PBIS assemblies are designed to promote positive student behavior by teaching and reinforcing school-wide expectations. But they are also a lot of fun.
The students also earned a pajama day on Friday! They reached their first Purple Ticket goal by showing ROCKS character expectations. We are so proud of our students for demonstrating ROCKS: Respect, Organization, Citizenship, Kindness, and Safety!

Last night, Lexi Ames (Grade 😎 was recognized at the Board of Education meeting for exemplifying The EAGLE Way character trait of Empathy. Last year, while one of her peers was experiencing a significant medical emergency at school, Lexi guided her classmate safely to the nurse’s office and remained there to assist the staff until administration and emergency personnel arrived.
Her calm presence, quick thinking, and compassion made a difference when it mattered most. Empathy is more than simply understanding how someone feels, it’s the ability to act on that understanding. It is seeing a need, feeling compelled to help, and responding without hesitation or expectation of reward.

One of our 4th grade classes wanted to do something special to honor our Veterans this year. They sent home stars for families to write the names of loved ones who are Military Veterans. Each class also contributed by creating heartfelt thank-you notes to show appreciation for their service.
All of these pieces were brought together to form a beautiful, giant American flag that now hangs proudly in our hallway—a powerful reminder of gratitude, service, and community.

The Village of Clyde, NY will host its annual "Clyde Community Christmas Parade of Lights" on Saturday, November 22, 2025. The parade starts at 6pm, followed by the annual park lighting and a fireworks display around 8pm. The event also includes street vendors, refreshments, and Santa at the Clyde-Galen Fire District.
