At Clyde-Savannah, we prioritize the mental and emotional health of our students, staff, and families. We believe mental well-being is a key part of overall health and plays a vital role in helping students grow into balanced, resilient individuals. Asking for help is a sign of strength—not something to be ashamed of.

Last night, our schools opened to families for Open House--first the Jr./Sr. High School, then the Elementary School. It was a great turnout! Parents got to meet teachers, see classrooms, and learn more about community resources. And everyone was offered cider, apples, and yogurt parfaits to keep them cool on a warm night.

Do you love snow sports? Want to spend Fridays at Bristol Mountain? Mark your calendars for an informational Zoom meeting on October 28 at 5pm. Meet Mr. Yonker and learn more about the club, pricing, etc. See you there!

To all our Clyde-Savannah coaches and coaches everywhere, we thank you for your dedication and positive influence. Coaching is about teaching perseverance, grit, and character, as well as skills. Thank you for all you do!

Yesterday, some of our Juniors and Seniors headed to SUNY Oswego to visit the campus, get a feel for college life, and envision their own futures beyond the hallways of Clyde-Savannah. Big decisions are ahead!

Mr. King's art classes had a chance to visit the Memorial Art Gallery in downtown Rochester this week. They had a chance to explore the MAG's permanent collection, as well as peruse some of the local artists' work that's currently on display. Thanks to the docents who helped bring these works to life for our C-S Jr. High Schoolers.

👏 SCHOOL CUSTODIAL APPRECIATION DAY! 👏
Today is the day to celebrate our amazing custodial staff at Clyde-Savannah! They work tirelessly behind-the-scenes to keep our schools clean and safe. Their hard work means so much. Thank you for everything you do!

Last week, our 8th graders traveled to Palmyra to gaze out at the future and learn about potential career paths. It's never too early to think about what you might enjoy in a job, and this gave our students plenty to think about. And, of course, they had fun too!
The High Schoolers weren't the only ones celebrating last week. Students at the Elementary School got into the Spirit too with theme days like Silly Cup Day and Dress to Impress!

Friday night, Clyde-Savannah brought out the floats and smiles for the Homecoming Parade. Then, it was time to cheer on the Golden Eagles under the lights before the night ended at the Homecoming Dance. It was a whirlwind of a day, but so much fun! Thanks to everyone who came out to show their school spirit!

🎁 🦃 GET IN THE SPIRIT OF GIVING! 🦃🎁
The time of year has come when we start to look for help for the holiday season. Some of the services we offer include Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets and the Giving Tree where students and families are assisted with gifts for the holidays, in partnership with Toys for Tots and Foodlink. These opportunities are distributed based on need.
The simple act of giving can mean so much. It builds a sense of community and falls in line with the spirit of the season. Please take the time to complete the form by Friday, October 10th.
