Last week, student-athletes from C-S hit the court for a volleyball camp led by our varsity volleyball team! Players learned new skills and had a lot of fun. Thanks to our varsity athletes and coaches for inspiring our younger volleyball players!

🎭 Theatre Camp performance was a hit! 🎭
Thanks to Peaceful Schools, Clyde-Savannah students were able to spend last week at theatre camp. The week ended with a performance where they could show off their singing, dancing, and acting skills. Everyone had a blast and the performance was a lot of fun. Great job, everyone!

😎 Our Elementary Schoolers have been having a great summer at Eaglets Landing. They've been doing enrichment activities, STEAM learning, and going on field trips to Seabreeze and Roseland Water Park. It's been a great summer and a lot of fun! 😎
Our students at SAIL Camp had the chance to break out of an escape room at The Nuthouse last week. They also helped out at the Savannah Community Field. Just one week of camp left!
💦 The pool at the Clyde-Savannah Jr./Sr. High School will be closed from August 8-24. See you swimmers on the 25th! 🏊

WEEK TWO of SAIL (Summer Adventure & Interactive Learning) CAMP:
Another awesome community service day! Students divided up into groups with one group helping to clean up and weed the garden area at the Blockhouse downtown. The other group headed over to the Mill Museum where they helped clean up some of the exhibit areas and add new artifacts to them - they've been asked to come back in a couple of weeks and the students are very excited!
Students made another tasty healthy snack with Odin this week: herb grilled cheese sandwiches on whole wheat with fresh tomatoes and basil!
Students ended this week with an amazing and informative tour of the George Eastman House in Rochester. It was really beautiful and again our students were great. Before heading back to Clyde, we stopped for a delicious meal at Sogo Japanese Steakhouse in Webster where many of our students got the opportunity to try hibachi and sushi for the first time. This was such a cool experience, and the server and hibachi chef were outstanding!

The Clyde-Savannah SAIL (Summer Adventure & Interactive Learning) Camp is in full swing. Thanks to Kim Wolverton, Steve Dunn and Amanda Lyttle, these C-S students heading into 8th and 9th grade next year have a chance to do community service, go on field trips, and learn about healthy habits. *** WEEK ONE: For community service, students walked down to the Clyde Fire Department where they helped wash the largest truck, and assisted with some landscaping by removing weeds, old bushes and mulch . They did an awesome job and we'll be heading back in a couple of weeks to help them with the Clyde Carnival! Students also learned about the importance of eating healthy foods, especially during the summer months, and made a tasty peanut-butter and fruit pita snack with Odin. They ended the week with a fun team-building experience at Camp Arrowhead in Pittsford where students got the chance to scale their large wooden ropes tower and their giant swing.
